I had been serving as a freelance web editor for Houston Ink Society for over a year before they decided they were ready for a full redesign. I was thrilled to get the opportunity to work with such an interesting local company.

In order to make the new site easy to maintain, I installed a customized WordPress theme on their current domain. The banner and styles were edited to match the store aesthetic, and utilities for site upkeep and maintenance were added. I also created a training manual and spent several hours with the owners and staff to ensure they would be in a good position to maintain the site on their own.
